I've actually spent a good amount of time in the U.P. of Michigan. I've made a lot of friends out there and seen a lot of beauty up on the Great Lakes. I knew With Michigan's shape I wanted this to be a scene with a night sky. I did a lot of thinking and choose Black River Harbor for sentimental reasons. My family did the waterfall trails leading up to the harbor, racing the setting sun running on the last trail or two so we could make it to the next! We arrived at the harbor where the river meets Superior ask Dusk was setting in and the stars were coming out
