This is a is a Japanese word that translates literally to "sunlight leaking through trees." I painted this after first finding the word.
What are Portals? All one-of-a-kind Originals painted on wood! I use Daniel Smith's Watercolor ground as a base and watercolor right on that. Each painting is sealed with a light protection and reading to hang on the wall. Or add a mini easel for shelf or table top art.
I'm on my 6th year releasing this annual collection. Every year it's so bittersweet to see the portals find their forever homes.
