"Tears of Joy" is the 2nd painting in my "Ireland" Collection. Each piece is inspired by my travels and love for Ireland (story below)

My Fine Art Prints are printed from my original watercolor painting, painted on hotpress or coldpress paper then printed with a High-Quality InkJet Printer on Archival 100% Cotton, Acid-Free Paper, Certified with no Optic Brighteners. 

 

Limited Edition sizes and batches

Pano size 9x16 : Edition of 125 (Frames found online and at Michaels. No need for custom framing

Pano size 13x24 matted to 20x30 : Edition of 50 (This sizes comes matted ready to frame in a 20x30 standard frame)

  • Print is limited to a run of each edition by size (once sold out they wont sell again)
  • Signed and numbered by Emilie Taylor and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity

Story


Half my life I dreamed of Ireland. The Emerald Isle calling to me to wander there. I finally took my dream trip in 2023 and these painting are the result!

Tears of Joy is from a little overlook of Darrynane on the ring of Kerry. This town was my first experience with the Atlantic Ocean (Anywhere! Closest I've been in the States is the Gulf.) I've always considered myself a West Coast Pacific kind of girl but I'd never seen the West coast of Ireland. The Wild Atlantic Way changed me and I"m not sure I'll ever recover. After spending some time in the freezing water we found ourselves on this overlook. Sheep we calling out from all the surrounding fields and storm clouds were brewing behind creating the most beautiful contrast. Right there on the overpass everything felt extremely Irish, and yes I cried.
